TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and online store (the “Platform”) and the purchase of jewellery and related products (“Products”) offered by Svarn Jewels (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing our Platform or purchasing Products, you agree to these Terms.


1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order.
  • By purchasing from our Platform, you confirm that the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or refuse service if information provided is false, incomplete, or fraudulent.

2. Products & Pricing

  • All Products are described as accurately as possible. Slight variations in design, weight, and color may occur due to the handcrafted nature of jewellery.
  • Prices are subject to change before order confirmation. Once an order is placed and confirmed, the price will not be revised.
  • We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing or product information.

3. Orders & Payment

  • Orders are confirmed only upon successful receipt of payment.
  • We accept payment through secure third-party gateways. The Company is not responsible for delays or issues caused by banks or payment providers.
  • For orders placed on Cash on Delivery (if offered), the Company is not liable for delays or non-collection of payment by courier partners.
  • We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order suspected of fraudulent activity.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays or force majeure events.
  • Risk of loss and ownership of the Product pass to you upon delivery.
  • We will assist in tracking and resolving courier delays, but cannot be held liable for reasons beyond our reasonable control.

5. Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

  • Returns are accepted only in case of manufacturing defects and must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Customised or engraved Products are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • Cancellation requests must be made within 24 hours of placing the order. After this period, cancellation may not be possible.
  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any exchange and returns

6. Product Authenticity & Warranty

  • We guarantee the authenticity of all jewellery sold. Certificates (if applicable) will accompany the Products.
  • Normal wear and tear, damage due to mishandling, fading of plating, or loss of stones is not covered under warranty.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our Products or Platform.
  • Our liability, in any case, shall be limited to the value of the Product purchased.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or intentional misconduct.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Platform, including logos, images, designs, and text, are the intellectual property of the Company.
  • Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Customer information will be collected, stored, and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available on the Platform).
  • We will not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to process and deliver your order or as required by law.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bangalore, Karnataka.

11. Force Majeure

  • The Company shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance of its obligations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, labour disputes, acts of government, pandemic, courier delays, or technical failures.

12. Indemnity

  • You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Platform, breach of these Terms, or violation of applicable laws.

13. Grievance Redressal

  • In compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we have appointed a Grievance Officer:

  • Complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 30 days.

14. Amendments

  • The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms. Any changes will be posted on this page with the “Last Updated” date.
  • Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
